Stryker Computer Navigation System for Knee Replacement Surgeries
At North Valley Hospital, our team of orthopedic surgery experts use various technologies to improve care for our patients. This technology assists the surgeon in making precise adjustments for the best possible implant fit, fewer complications and improved joint stability. The computer navigation system helps our surgeons make more accurate decisions when aligning and orientating instruments, trials and implants, and balancing soft tissue.
Stryker Mako Robotic Surgery
Robotic-arm assisted orthopedic surgery with Stryker’s Mako System
—an advanced robotic technology for joint replacement surgery—offers patients a surgical plan based on their unique anatomy. First, a CT scan of the diseased joint is taken. This CT scan is uploaded into the Mako System software, where a 3D model of your hip is created. This 3D model is used to pre-plan and assist our surgeons in performing total hip, total knee or partial knee replacement, which may provide you with relief from your joint pain.
Patient-Centered Orthopedic Program
Adding to the leading-edge technology is a full hospital-based orthopedic program led by certified orthopedic nurse coordinators who provide education and care tailored for orthopedic patients. Our team of nurses with advanced training coordinates with our on-site physical and occupational therapists for orthopedic care and rehabilitation.
