Yoga for grief support class starts June 6
Grief can take a significant toll on the body, both emotionally and physically. To assist with grief recovery, Home Options Hospice is offering a free six-week Yoga for Grief Support class. A membership to Summit Medical Fitness Center is not required.
This six-week yoga program is intended to explore and support the body and mind after the death of a loved one, integrating the practice of yoga with education about grief and bereavement.
The participant will be guided through a variety of yoga poses and mindfulness techniques to help them live with loss. Each week includes written information for education and reflection, a yoga practice and discussion. This yoga practice is gentle and appropriate for all levels.
Each Thursday, beginning June 6, 6:30 p.m.
The Summit Medical Fitness Center
