Stepping Into Fall - Seniors Safety Event

Mark your calendars! The third annual Stepping Into Fall, Seniors Safety Event is scheduled for late September. If you are wise on years and experience or are a caretaker for an elderly family member, you are invited to attend.

WHEN: Saturday, September 28, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
WHERE: Expo Building at Northwest Montana Fairgrounds
COST: The event is free and open to the public

More than 30 exhibitors will be on hand to provide educational information on topics like Parkinson’s, diabetes, Alzheimer’s, prescription safety and nutrition. Many community programs will also be in attendance to share information about services such as the Agency on Aging of Flathead County, The Humane Society of NW Montana, and Flathead Music Therapy.

Back by popular demand are a number of exercise classes designed to improve balance. There will also be learning sessions about yoga and Nordic walking. Be sure to wear your tennis shoes so you can try them all!
