Welcome Shay to the Summit team!

Shay Fishel joined the Summit team in December 2018 as the new S.P.A.R.K. and League coordinator. Shay graduated from Columbia Falls High School and is currently attending Flathead Valley Community College. She has a passion for volleyball and played for one year at University of Great Fall and coaches the junior varsity volleyball coach for Columbia Falls High School and travel ball for Valley Volleyball in Columbia Falls.

Away from work Shay enjoys spending time with her nieces and nephews and of course playing and coaching volleyball. Some other favorite activities include hiking, dirt biking in the mountains and Moab, spending any time she can get at the lake, and watching her favorite show The Office.

Shay doesn’t have a favorite quote or motto, but she does strongly believe that “Good things don’t come easily.”

About S.P.A.R.K.

S.P.A.R.K., which stands for Sports, Physical Activity & Recreation for Kids, is the department that runs the youth programs at The Summit. S.PA.R.K. focuses on keeping children ages 6-12 active and healthy. We offer lots of fun programs including an after school program, no school fun camp, kid’s night out and summer camp to help meet your family’s needs. In all of our youth programs, children participate in activities led by energetic staff in a structured and safe environment. Activities vary and provide participants with exposure to everything The Summit has to offer. Your child will be involved with activities such as tennis, rock climbing, swimming and much more!

Mark your calendar for these upcoming dates. Kid’s Night Out is on March 9, Spring Break Camp is March 25-29, and member registration for Summer Camp is online this year starting on April 22. For more information please give us a call at (406) 751-4137 or visit us online.
