The North Valley Hospital Foundation has been selected to participate as one of the 50 non-profits raising money in Whitefish Community Foundation’s annual Great Fish Community Challenge. Every year, Whitefish Community Foundation selects nonprofits in the fundraising challenge and the Community Foundation contributes an amount based on total dollars raised to campaigns raising $20,000 or more. Last year, North Valley Hospital Foundation received a match of almost $10,000 and we hope to earn this match again this year.

The NVH Foundation set a fundraising goal of $40,000, for the SIM-MT mobile simulation labs to provide high fidelity simulations exercises to clinical departments at NVH on a regular basis. SIM-MT mobile simulations labs offer detailed training for high risk yet low frequency medical situations so that hospital staff can maintain an expert level of training and clinical readiness.

To learn more about the SIM-MT mobile simulation labs and the fundraising project at the North Valley Hospital Foundation website.

All Great Fish Challenge fundraising initiatives culminate in the Great Fish Community Challenge Color Run on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Depot Park in Whitefish. The day is family- and pet-friendly with all 50 nonprofits present with booths, interactive games, and activities for the kids and adults. There are giveaways, music and a free community BBQ at 11:00 a.m. in addition to the Color Run and a “Tot Trot.” Come join the fun and support the North Valley Hospital Foundation and 49 other community nonprofits with the Whitefish Community Foundation.
