BRA Day 2019: Supporting the fighters

The teams at Glacier View Plastic Surgery, Bass Breast Center, and the KRH Foundation's Save a Sister initiative, along with community members and breast cancer survivors, came together on October 16th to celebrate National Breast Reconstruction Day. And, it was quite the turn out: Our patients, providers, and community supporters enjoyed celebrating the countless lives their collaborative efforts have positively impacted.

The words “you have breast cancer” could be one of the scariest things a woman might hear in her lifetime and the diagnosis of this cancer can leave a woman feeling emotional and overwhelmed. That is where the Save a Sister initiative helps out— the initiative's goals are to improve women's access to screening mammography, educate the community, and promote breast cancer awareness and prevention through outreach activities.

Bass Breast Center and Glacier View Plastic Surgery work very closely with each other, and are committed to delivering excellent care in a compassionate environment.

Our patients are the most important piece of the puzzle when it comes to their breast health. At KRH, we offer support and comfort, and ensure that no one walks this journey alone.
