The Medical Library offers services to Kalispell Regional Healthcare providers to support patient care, research and education. The Medical Library is available to affiliated physicians and nurses 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Reference and Electronic Resources
The library offers print and electronic resources on medical, nursing, allied health and health care administration. In total, our collection consists of more than 4,000 titles including print and online resources.
The following is a small sampling of online resources available from the Medical Library. (Please note, not all links are available outside of the KRH network; contact the Medical Library for more details.) These resources can be accessed through the Wire or via the "External Links" button on your EMR screen. Table of contents alerts and timely subject-specific searches also are available. Contact the library to set up alerts for the publications or topics you wish to follow.
Affiliated health care providers can request searches of the medical literature by a librarian. Results can be emailed, mailed, faxed or hand-delivered to your location.
Items not held by the library, including books, audiovisual materials and journal articles, can be requested for your use. The Medical Library also offers the Loansome Doc
service, which allows researchers to request articles found when searching PubMed
. Contact the library to request an item through interlibrary loan.
Education and Support
The Medical Library staff is here to ensure that you get the information you need. Health care providers can request training sessions on searching library resources. In-person, phone and email support are available. Please contact the library to set up training or to get help.
