Turtle Bay provides intensive therapeutic outpatient services for children and adolescents with emotional problems. These services are designed to support clients with emotional or behavior issues and to increase the client’s capacity to be successful in the classroom and his or her community.
Turtle Bay is pleased to provide meaningful services to children and adolescents. By collaborating with experienced mental and behavioral health partners, public schools and community mental health centers, we can effectively provide the necessary services to maintain clients in their own homes and their community. Services are available year-round, and each child’s treatment program is based on individual needs.
Our program also allows children with intensive therapeutic needs to transition from a higher level of care to receive therapeutic support on a daily basis as they reintegrate into the community.
Services include four hours of therapy and two hours of education, as well as the following:
- Individual therapy
- Group therapy
- Family therapy
- Social skills training
- Academic maintenance
- Psychiatric evaluation
- Recreational activities
- Medication management
A group of health care providers creates an individual treatment plan based on each youth’s unique needs. The team includes a clinical therapist, mental health counselor, education personnel, registered nurses and a psychiatrist.
