T. Raymond Foley, MD, joined Kalispell Regional Healthcare in 2019 and is a cardiologist at Rocky Mountain Heart & Lung. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Vermont before attending medical school at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He then completed his residency and chief residency in internal medicine at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, where he remained to complete fellowships in cardiology and vascular medicine. Dr. Foley went on to complete a two-year fellowship in interventional cardiology and advanced structural and peripheral interventions at Scripps Clinic, where he simultaneously served on the medical staff as an attending interventional cardiologist. While at Scripps, Dr. Foley received training in complex coronary PCI, peripheral vascular interventions and the breadth of transcatheter structural interventions including TAVR, left atrial appendage occlusion and PFO/ASD closure. He has co-authored more than 20 peer reviewed articles in the field of interventional cardiology and has presented his research at national meetings. Dr. Foley has relocated to the Flathead Valley with his wife and young son. Outside of work, he enjoys skiing, mountain biking, fly fishing and any other excuse to get outside.
