Tiana Pallister, MS, joined the Kalispell Regional Healthcare family in September 2018 as a genetic counselor at Bass Breast Center and KRH Cancer Services. Tiana earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Montana with a focus in genetics followed by a Master of Science degree in genetic counseling from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Tiana’s background provides her with the skills and knowledge to act as an advocate for patients and families affected by genetic diseases, including hereditary cancer. As a genetic counselor, she helps to educate patients about genetic diseases and genetic testing implications, provide resources, and offer psychosocial support so that patients are better able to make informed decisions about their health care. Her professional interests include all branches of genetics health care, public health and education, increasing access to genetic services, and delivering patient-centered care. When Tiana is not at the clinic, she enjoys hiking on Montana’s many trails, creative projects, and spending time with family and friends.
