Rawa Sarji, DO, FACC, joined the Kalispell Regional Healthcare team in July 2016. She is a cardiologist practicing with Rocky Mountain Heart & Lung and brings her expertise to the structural heart program at KRH. Her specialty is transesophageal echocardiography (TEE), which is diagnostic testing that produces pictures of the hearts of patients who are being evaluated for and undergoing complex structural heart procedures. Dr. Sarji received her medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, followed by a residency at St. Luke's–Roosevelt Hospital Center at Columbia University in New York. Upon completion of her residency, she was appointed chief medical resident. Dr. Sarji rounded out her medical training with a cardiology fellowship at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. She is board certified in internal medicine, general cardiology, echocardiology, nuclear cardiology and cardiac CT. Dr. Sarji brings essential experience to the structural heart program, expanding cardiac services in the Flathead Valley to include transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), atrial septal defect (ASD) repair, and MitraClip and Watchman device implantations. Away from the clinic, Dr. Sarji she enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters. She has embraced Montana’s abundant outdoor recreational opportunities and particularly likes hiking and golfing and has a newfound love of snow skiing.
