Physiatrist Rachel Zeider, MD, came to Kalispell Regional Healthcare in August 2013 as a specialist in physical medicine and rehabilitation with the Neuroscience and Spine Institute. Dr. Zeider has a particular interest in musculoskeletal ultrasound, and applies her interest in sports to an understanding of her patients’ needs. She earned her undergraduate degree in biology from Bethel College in Mishawaka, Indiana, and completed her medical studies at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis. Her internship in internal medicine was followed by a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Baylor College of Medicine/University of Texas PM&R Alliance in Houston. Her exposure to a broad variety of practice styles and training in all treatment modalities strongly support her practice in Kalispell. Dr. Zeider and her family love spending as much time outdoors as possible. She is learning to snowboard and enjoys hiking, gardening, cooking, reading and spending time with her family. She’s particularly interested in eating and picking huckleberries in northwest Montana.
