Paula French, NP, is originally from Bigfork, Montana, where she started her path in medicine as an EMT on the Bigfork ambulance in 2006. She graduated from the MSU School of Nursing in 2011 and moved to Palmer, Alaska, to work in the intensive care unit. In 2014 she returned to the Flathead Valley, where she worked in the ICU at Kalispell Regional Medical Center while attending nurse practitioner school through the University of Cincinnati. She obtained her adult gerontology primary care nurse practitioner degree in 2016. In January 2017, she was hired as the Structural Heart Program coordinator, which focuses on replacing and repairing heart valves using minimally invasive technique for patients who are at high risk for open heart surgery. When not working, Paula enjoys a variety of outdoor activities, including skiing, gardening, hunting, hiking and fishing.
