Cardiologist Jon Johnson, MD, attended medical school at the University of Colorado, then completed his residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in noninvasive cardiology, both at the University of Vermont. He practiced cardiology and internal medicine in Los Alamos, New Mexico, for 16 years before relocating to Montana in 1996. He is a Fellow of the American College of Internal Medicine and the American College of Chest Physicians. At Rocky Mountain Heart & Lung he practices general cardiology with a special interest in echocardiography. Dr. Johnson has served as Chief of Staff for Kalispell Regional Medical Center and previously served on the Board of Trustees of Kalispell Regional Healthcare. He and his wife, Diane, an occupational therapist, have two adult sons. He is an avid cyclist and alpine skier, and enjoys Nordic skiing, kayaking, hiking and international travel.
