Jamie Hettick, MD, joined Kalispell Regional Healthcare in January 2017 as an internal medicine physician at Kalispell Medical Offices and Bone Health. Dr. Hettick was born and raised on Long Island, New York, prior to obtaining her undergraduate and graduate education through Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Her comprehensive medical residency at Wilford Hall U.S. Air Force Medical Center at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas, prepared her for leading the internal medicine department at F.E. Warren Air Force Base in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Attaining the rank of major, Dr. Hettick departed the Air Force for private practice in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, where she treated patients in the office setting and as a hospitalist. The call of the inland northwest’s open spaces led her to northern Idaho, where she worked in clinics and private practice until finding her “forever” spot in Kalispell. Dr. Hettick brings expertise in treating complex internal medical patients with hypertension, cardiovascular disease and diabetes. Dr. Hettick is elated with Kalispell’s friendliness and is looking forward to exploring the endless outdoor opportunities of the area. When not caring for patients, Dr. Hettick can be found hiking, fishing, canoeing, gardening and enjoying her dogs.
