Family nurse practitioner Heather Thomas-Clark joined Kalispell Regional Healthcare in early 2013. She earned her bachelor of science from Montana State University in Bozeman, and then her master of science degree in nursing from Hawaii Pacific University, with a family nurse practitioner concentration. Before joining KRH, Heather most recently worked for the Department of Defense as a civil service provider for the Army. There she worked as a family medicine primary care manager, Warrior Transition primary care provider and most recently as a primary care manager for the 759th Military Police Brigade in Fort Carson, Colorado. Over the prior 12 years, she built up a broad range of medical experience as a primary care manager, a triage provider, adjunct faculty member, nurse practitioner in geriatric medicine and an orthopedic nurse. She has been a preceptor for master of science nursing students and family nurse practitioner students since 2004. Heather is certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
