Obstetrican/Gynecologist Heath Miller, MD, began practicing with Northwest Women’s Healthcare in September 2015 and is a member of the active medical staff at Kalispell Regional Healthcare. Dr. Miller is accredited by the Accreditation Council in advanced minimally invasive procedures, and is a fellow of the American College of OB/GYNs. He completed his medical studies at Wake Forest University School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and carried out his OB/GYN training at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle. He began professional practice with the Indian Health Service in Gallup, New Mexico, where he also was a clinical assistant professor at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine. In 2000, Dr. Miller went into partnership at Northwest Women’s Healthcare in Seattle, specializing in minimally invasive surgery. He also is a clinical associate professor there at the University of Washington School of Medicine. During the 15 years before his move to Kalispell he performed many administrative roles at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, where he had been chief of the OB/GYN Department for most of that time. For the three years before leaving Seattle, his peers voted him one of the best gynecologists in the city. Dr. Miller enjoys spending his leisure time with his twin girls (who recently went off to college) as well being in the company of friends, biking, hiking and enjoying the outdoors.
