Federico G. Seifarth, MD, joined Kalispell Regional Healthcare in April 2016 to provide pediatric surgical services to the children of Montana. Dr. Seifarth is specialized in minimally invasive techniques including robotic-assisted minimally invasive surgery with the da Vinci robotic system on neonates, children and adolescents. He is board certified in general pediatric surgery and pediatrics and serves as the medical director for pediatric surgery and chair of Montana Children’s Specialists. He earned his medical degree and doctorate from the University of Zurich in Switzerland. His postgraduate training includes a residency in pediatrics at University Children's Hospital in Zurich, as well as a residency in pediatric surgery at University Children's Hospital in Basel, Switzerland, and at University Children’s Hospital in Munich, Germany. He then completed a pediatric surgery fellowship at Miami Children's Hospital in Miami, Florida. After his training, Dr. Seifarth joined the staff of Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio, as a general pediatric surgeon and director for minimally invasive surgery and advanced technologies. He was leading the department of pediatric surgery at the Cleveland Clinic before joining Kalispell Regional Healthcare. Dr. Seifarth speaks English, German, Italian, French and Spanish. He enjoys exploring the outdoors with his family and loves the splendor of northwest Montana.
