Pediatric gastroenterologist Daniel Lustig, MD, MS, joined the Digestive Health Institute in September 2016. He had been practicing for the past eight years at Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital in Tacoma, Washington. Dr. Lustig earned his medical degree at the University of South Dakota School of Medicine. He completed his residency at Eastern Carolina University Pediatrics/Brody School of Medicine, followed by a pediatric gastroenterology fellowship at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital. Today he is involved with ongoing research in fructose intolerance; his other professional interests are inflammatory bowel disease, motility disorders and eosinophilic esophagitis. Away from the office, Dr. Lustig enjoys spending time with his family while hiking, skiing and fly fishing.
