Brent Pistorese, MD, began offering pulmonary and critical care through Rocky Mountain Heart and Lung in 2000, after spending the first half of his medical career practicing critical care medicine in Seattle, Washington. Dr. Pistorese earned his medical degree from the University of Washington in Seattle, and remained with the university to complete both his internship and residency in internal medicine. He went on to accept two fellowships: a one-year burn/trauma fellowship with Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, and a three-year respiratory disease and critical care medicine fellowship with the University of Washington in Seattle. He began his professional practice at Northwest Hospital Medical Center in Seattle as director of Critical Care and Respiratory Care and co-director of Respiratory Care. He also specialized in caring for patients with pulmonary diseases at Minor & James Medical, and was co-director of Critical Care Services and the Cardiovascular Surgical Intensive Care Unit at Swedish Hospital Medical Center, both located in Seattle. Since joining Kalispell Regional Medical Center in 2000, he has been serving as co-director of Respiratory and Critical Care Services in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit and providing subspecialty care for patients with pulmonary disease at Rocky Mountain Heart and Lung. In addition to his clinical duties, in 2013, Dr. Pistorese began administrative work as the Physician Director of Quality Services for Kalispell Regional Medical Center. He enjoys spending his leisure time reading, traveling in the Northwest and sharing time with his family.
