Oral surgeon Bernadette Wilson’s training includes dental and medical school as well as additional years of hospital-based surgical and anesthesia postgraduate training. Dr. Wilson received her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. She went on to earn a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry and a Doctor of Medicine degree from Mayo Medical School in Rochester, Minnesota. She became the first woman to complete the oral and maxillofacial surgery residency program at Mayo Graduate School of Medicine. When Dr. Wilson left the Midwest, she was determined to start an oral surgery practice that ensures each patient receives a high level of care with emphasis on quality, safety and patient comfort. Her vision of that type of practice has been available since 2006 at Glacier Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in Whitefish, Montana. Dr. Wilson is part of the active medical staff at both North Valley Hospital and Kalispell Regional Medical Center.
