Austin Johnston, DO, joined the Kalispell Regional Healthcare team in August 2017 as part of the Neuroscience & Spine Institute, Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. Dr. Johnston earned his medical degree at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine. Subsequently, he went on to complete his residency training at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Dr. Johnston has extensive background of the nervous and musculoskeletal systems and electrodiagnostic testing to aid in patient care. When working with patients, he aims to maximize mobility and independence using his background in osteopathic manipulative medicine and principles. Away from the office, Dr. Johnston enjoys training and competing in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, hitting the slopes in the winter months, hunting and enjoying the outdoors with his family.
