Pediatric anesthesiologist Alice Seifarth, MD, joined the growing pediatric care services at Kalispell Regional Healthcare as a physician with Northern Rockies Anesthesia Consultants in September 2016. She is a member of the active medical staff at Kalispell Regional Medical Center. Dr. Seifarth completed medical school at the University of Ulm in Germany. During her medical training she also spent time in Nanjing, China, learning traditional Chinese medicine. Dr. Seifarth’s residency included extensive training in pediatric anesthesiology at Klinikum Stuttgart, a children’s hospital affiliated with the University of Tuebingen, Germany, and training in general anesthesiology at Klinikum Bogenhausen (Technical University of Munich) and at Klinikum Stuttgart, Krankenhaus Bad Cannstatt (University of Tuebingen). She was awarded a research scholarship from the anesthesiology department at the University of Miami, Florida, for an academic-year term. From 2013 to 2015 she completed a two-year fellowship in pediatric anesthesiology at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio. In 2015 she joined Cleveland Clinic’s pediatric anesthesiology staff, where she practiced on faculty until moving to Montana. Dr. Seifarth’s first language is German and she is fluent in English. When she is enjoying free time, she’s likely to be found in the outdoors enjoying the splendor of northwest Montana with her family. In the summer she explores the trails on bike with her boys and during wintertime she loves to ski.
