Pediatric Annual Report 2016

Pediatric Surgery Annual Report Cover With the inception of pediatric surgery services, a pioneering change to surgical services at Kalispell Regional Healthcare was observed in 2016. In previous years, a dedicated team of general and subspecialized surgeons, who work primarily on adults, provided elective and emergency surgeries to children. With the support of adjunct pediatric subspecialists, the pediatric surgery team increased pediatric patient volumes, performed complex cases on children, lowered the average pediatric patient age and attracted patients from remote regions of the state. These achievements were seen within months of arrival of our pediatric surgery team. Click here to view consolidated productivity tables, 2015-2016.

Pediatric Annual Report 2017

Expanding on foundational services from 2016, this was a year of growth and literal groundbreaking efforts to expand the vision of Montana Children’s Medical Center. Additional physician recruitment added more pediatric specialists and subspecialists to the Kalispell Regional Healthcare medical roster and patient volumes reflect these additional services, procedures and offerings. Outreach efforts were a primary focus area of growth related to the pediatric program. Routine outreach clinics in areas including Missoula, Great Falls, Bozeman, Helena, Anaconda and Polson, help to serve the rural families and patients in need of specialized pediatric care around the big state of Montana.
