Lindzy Roth, RN
Lindzy Roth grew up in Indiana and attended college at Indiana University in Bloomington, where she received a bachelor’s degree in tourism management specializing in event planning and hospitality. Lindzy lived in Hawaii twice for special event internships working for the military. Her sister Ashley, who is a pediatric ER nurse, inspired her to make a charge in her career and become a nurse. Lindzy then moved to Cincinnati, Ohio, and attended Good Samaritan College, where she received her nursing degree. Immediately after graduating, Lindzy and her sister moved to California, where she passed her nursing boards. During a search for new graduate programs throughout the country, Lindzy came across the Nurse Residency Program at Kalispell Regional Medical Center, where she applied and was accepted. Since then she has worked as a surgical nurse and a PACU/recovery nurse. Now as a concierge nurse and a certified medical tourism professional, Lindzy is able to blend her degrees and use her combined experience to assist traveling patients with their care.
Mary Strauss, RN
Mary Strauss, a certified medical tourism professional, began working for Kalispell Regional Medical Center in 2001 in the intermediate care unit and intensive care unit. She quickly found a love for critical care, transitioning to full time in the ICU and later becoming a charge nurse. After several years she transferred to the emergency department, where she moved up once again to a charge nurse position. In 2010 Mary worked with Kalispell Regional Healthcare administration to form the medical tourism department. Starting with a few Canadian patients each month, the program has grown significantly and now has clients from all over the U.S. and Canada. Born in Maine to an Air Force family, Mary traveled all over the world and went to high school in Okinawa, Japan. After graduating from nursing school in Wyoming, she lived in southern California before moving to Kalispell, where she plans to stay. In her free time, Mary enjoys spending time with her family, hiking in Glacier National Park and baking.
