Daniel P. Rausch, MD
Board Certified Family Physician
Dr. Rausch, "Dr. Dan," completed high school at Great Falls High and then went on to graduate with honors in 1985 from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He also earned his medical doctorate in 1989 from Oral Roberts School of Medicine and subsequently completed his residency in family medicine from Family Medicine Spokane in Spokane, Washington. Dr. Rausch has practiced the full scope of family medicine from delivering babies to caring for the oldest members of families. He no longer does OB care but continues to care for newborns through adults. Dr. Rausch spent 13 years in Shelby, Montana, before coming to Polson in 2005. He has been with Polson Health since its reopening in June 2010. Dr. Rausch enjoys family activities with his wife, Katrina, and four children John, Timothy, Heidi and Sarah. He enjoys umpiring, baseball/softball field maintenance and attending all high school activities.
Alex Flerchinger, FNP
Family Nurse Practitioner
Alex Flerchinger, FNP, was born and raised in Libby, Montana. She earned her bachelor of science in nursing from Whitworth College of Nursing in Spokane, Washington, then began her career as a registered nurse with Benewah Community Hospital in St. Maries, Idaho. After four years, she returned to school and earned her master of science in nursing from Gonzaga University. She began providing care as a nurse practitioner with St. Maries Family Medicine. Her professional focus is on working together with patients and families to help them achieve optimal health and enjoy life. Alexandra and her husband, Steve, moved to Polson in 2005 with their three children. Alex enjoys staying involved in her youngest daughter’s sport’s activities, gardening, hiking, boating, and downhill and cross country skiing.
Tom Konen, DC
Board Certified Chiropractor
Tom grew up in Butte, Montana, and graduated from Butte Public High School. He went on to earn his undergraduate degree from Carroll College in Helena, Montana. Upon graduation he spent the next five years as a high school teacher and coach at Flathead High School. He then completed a year of post-graduate study at the University of Washington before receiving his doctor of chiropractic degree from Western States Chiropractic College in Portland, Oregon. He was in private practice for 11 years before joining Polson Health in June 2010. Tom and his wife, Carol, have a large blended family, and they greatly enjoy following their sports, events and activities. Family gatherings, camping trips and fishing are just a few of their favorite pastimes.
