Employment
Benefits go into effect the first of the month after you have worked one calendar month. For example, if you were to start employment at Kalispell Regional anytime in the month of January, your benefits would go into effect March 1.

You will receive a letter at your home address two or three weeks before your benefits become effective, inviting you to a meeting to learn about the options  available for you.

Insurance and Flexible Spending

  • Health, dental and vision in cafeteria plan
  • Employer-paid life insurance equal to annual base salary up to a maximum of $50,000
  • Voluntary life and disability insurance
  • Flexible spending account, allowing employees to pay for qualified health care expenses and dependent care with pretax dollars

Retirement

  • Up to 6 percent profit sharing after one year of service, 1,000 hours worked and reaching the age of 21

Pay and Paid Time Off

  • Differential pay – applies to registry, evening and night shift
  • RN certification pay – for specified certifications within one's assigned department
  • Short notice/call in pay – includes one hour of overtime
  • Paid time off – after six months of continuous employment in a full-time or part-time position, employees may begin using paid time off (hours earned are based on hours worked; paid time off includes Earned Time Benefit and Continued Illness Benefit)
  • Paid holidays – six holidays may be paid at time and a half if worked
  • Leaves – based on eligibility and may be granted for bereavement, Family Medical Leave (FMLA) or jury duty

  • Education – up to $1,000 annual tuition reimbursement for approved education programs
  • Corporate day care – Kid Kare on-campus day care for children ages 6 weeks to 6 years
