The Montana Center - Osteopathic
Osteopathic manipulative medicine is a branch of medicine that incorporates the belief that the body has self-healing mechanisms, its structure and function are interrelated, and in order to achieve health, it is important to include the physical body, mind and spiritual health in a patient's care.

Osteopathic physicians practice osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT), which is hands-on care that can help the body restore normal function. The physician uses his or her hands to diagnose and treat using various techniques. OMT can help many different patient populations with a variety of conditions:
  • Musculoskeletal injures and pain
  • Scoliosis
  • Back pain during pregnancy
  • Headaches
  • Sinus problems
  • Frozen shoulder
  • Geriatric mobility issues
  • Abdominal and digestive issues
