A.L.E.R.T.'s operational expenses regularly outweigh its income. It exists because of the generosity of this community.
In fact, the first helicopter purchased by the hospital was financed with the help of local logger, Clyde Smith. Past donations to the Kalispell Regional Healthcare Foundation for A.L.E.R.T. have paid for needed repairs to the helicopter and necessary equipment, including survival packs, a GPS tracking system, specialized radios, mechanic's tools, and critical items for patient care and patient safety.
Gifts to A.L.E.R.T. help secure the future of the air ambulance service.
